Too many losses in my life I lost my grandfather too early cause he smoked. I had to be there for my 15 year old cousin when her mom died from lung cancer. Before that both my parents were diagnosed with emphysema. Five years after my aunt died, my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer. As I sat in my college graduation ceremony I waited for my dad to call me from the hospital to tell me my mom was gone; she died a week and 13 hours after I graduated, she never was able to tell me how proud of me she was.
