Way Beyond What I don't want Swimming in the ocean or in the arts, what is worthwhile; a deep experience, we should do. The rest, we can skip. Whatever novel or non-fiction I am tearing through, the beach I am waking on, the forest path I'm hiking on; these are things that have meaning to me.

Now I am "a single dad". And I have gone from spending lots of time with my 9yo son to being his home. All of which was a goal, all without a fight.

Central as well is the musician. There are less gigs - going out and playing jazz on the violin. But just like the next book I read after I feel like I'm too busy to read a novel now - the music will always come back. I've been performing since age 5.
