kiss the ashtray! Well, I used to be in bars a lot as a musician, and also live in places where people smoked, and I ended up with a cardiovascular disease from breathing in cigarette smoke all the time. So I had to leave that lifestyle and settle for something more breathable. Even now when I go to large cities, I find it difficult to breathe if I am there for several hours. Less oxygen, I think. So I tend to avoid people who puff. I do have some friends who smoke, but they do so out of doors, so that they do not bother anyone. I am surprised by the number of smokers I have talked with about their habit, who confide to me that they wish they could stop.
